| 授業の概要 |
This is a course in English storytelling. Students will read and listen to stories, and create a tell stories of their own.

(1) For students to develop their English fluency by reading and listening to abundant, highly accessible reading material.
(2) For students to develop their confidence in speaking before audiences and to learn to appreciate the power of good stories.
(3) For students to learn to tell good children’s stories by making texts understandable.

| 授業計画 |
Each week, all students will read a short story in English. In addition, students will complete the following assignments throughout the semester.
(1) Cartoon Summary (in English): Use pictures and images to help explain the main points of the story. Also, list what you think are 3 interesting quotes or points from the story.
(2) Autobiographical Story: Tell about something that happened to you.
(3) Riddle or puzzle
(4) Everybody's Story: Tell a story about a common theme.
