科目名 英語（会話上級）IVＢ  クラス −  授業の概要 The purpose of this course is to advance your English to a higher level, feel more comfortable speaking English and answer any questions you may have about the speaking of English.  授業の到達目標 We will find English language extremely interesting by looking in depth at the foundation of idioms and everyday usage of the English language as a communication tool.  授業計画 Below you will see a general weekly class format. This format may change from time to time to meet our needs, but communication will be the main objective. 回 内容 1 General introductions and class discussion.  2 News conversation from weekly English newspapers.  3 Personal discussions and a look at recent events.  4 Weekly newspaper events and cultural discussions.  5 A look at grammar questions and how they can be made fun.  6 Listening practice and discussion on key words.  7 Cultural question for the instructor.  8 Current events and discussion.  9 Grammar talk and one half of a classic film.  10 General discussion and second half of the classic film.  11 Reading practice and discussion of key elements in the reading.   12 Daily life discussion and grammar points.  13 Recent news topics and your thoughts.  14 Newspaper stories and discussion.  15 Final summation of the semester class and what we have learned.    テキスト・参考書 No textbook required for this class.  自学自習についての情報 I will make suggestions in class about the many ways you can improve your English speaking, on your own!  授業の形式 This is the best chance to use your English in a completely safe space and take your speaking to a higher level.  評価の方法（評価の配点比率と評価の要点） The final test will be a presentation by the students and this will be explained during the semester.  その他 Many of my students say they have never had an English class such as this and they they made great improvement and also really enjoyed the class.
