授業の概要 |
In this class, students will learn advanced English academic style to prepare for writing their own Master's theses. They will learn mainly through reading example texts and doing tasks that focus on specific aspects of academic writing. Focused papers, reading homework, textbook homework, classroom activities, are all aimed at helping students become fluent users of academic writing style, vocabulary, and form. Students will do extensive peer editing, focusing on topics relevant to their own research. |
授業の到達目標 |
While writing using academic English style, students will introduce the research field that they are interested in. They will cite important research contributions from scholarly journal articles, book chapters, or books. Students will become skilled at using APA style and making reference lists. |
