クラス −
授業の概要 In this class, we will take an innovative approach to develop listening and speaking skills by using a textbook focused on leadership and positive psychology. Importantly, the text is read aloud by the author in the unabridged audiobook that is also a required text. Students will develop academic English skills and test-taking skills in a range of academic listening and speaking tasks.
授業の到達目標 The goal of this course is to engage students in exercises that aim to consider topics in positive psychology and improve critical thinking skills. Students will learn new concepts and encounter new perspectives. As they do tasks focused on learning academic English, they will identify their own assumptions about the world, and have them challenged. In sum, students will engage in logical thinking about positive psychology principles while using English to do so.
