授業の概要 |
In this class, students will learn the basics of English academic style to prepare for writing their own theses. They will learn mainly through reading example texts and doing tasks that focus on specific aspects of academic writing. Focused papers, technique trials, reading homework, textbook homework, classroom activities, quizzes and test are all aimed at helping students become fluent users of academic writing style, vocabulary, and form. |
授業の到達目標 |
While writing using academic English style, students will introduce the research field that they are interested in. They will cite important research contributions from scholarly journal articles, book chapters, or books. Students will become familiar with using APA style and making reference lists. |
