科目名 英語コミュニケーションＡ  クラス ｇ  授業の概要 1. 受講生が1章ずつ担当し、問題の解答解説とテーマについて調べた内容を発表する。 2．教員が補足説明する。  授業の到達目標 世界中で起こる最新の話題に触れながら、英語を聞き理解する力、英文を読みながら内容を理解する力、各章の話題について自分の意見を発信する力の育成を目指す。  授業計画 毎回、Unitを1つずつ読む予定である。 回 内容 1 Guidance Unit 1 First Autonomous ship prepares for maiden voyage from UK  2 Unit 2 The seaweed-eating sheep helping tackle climate change   3 Unit 3 Video game developers cash in on Africa's booming market  4 Unit 4 Ugandan children back to school after nearly 2year COVID closure  5 Unit 5 Street art transforms Quinta Do Mocho District in Lisbon  6 Unit 6 Waste not, want not: UK consumers use apps to fight food waste  7 Unit 7 Ethiopian girls take on gender stereotypes at the skatepark  8 Midterm Examination  9 Unit 9 Tourism's gifts and woes for Santa and Sami homeland  10 Unit 10 Untapped potential: The Central African Republic develops its agricultural sector  11 Unit 11 Going home: Europe starts slow return of looted African art  12 Unit 12 Torfaera, the motor sport captivating Iceland  13 Unit 13 New Zealand outline plans to tax livestock burps and farts  14 Unit 14 Poverty and activism combine in Chad street theater   15 Unit 15 Rwandan company transforms gas from "killed lake" into electricity    テキスト・参考書 AFP World News Report 7 (SEIBIDO)  自学自習についての情報 担当者は各レッスンのReading パートをしっかり予習して、内容の解説及び設問の解答解説ができるように準備してくる。担当者以外の受講者はReadingパートを読み、設問に答えておく。  授業の形式 各レッスン、リスニング演習を行い、次に担当者によるreading 教材の解答解説を行う。最後にトピックに関して自分の考えを英語で書くことを目標とする。  アクティブラーニングに関する情報 Reading 教材について、受講者による解答解説を行う。さらに、各レッスンのトピックに関して自分の考えを英語で表現する。  評価の方法（評価の配点比率と評価の要点） 定期試験（約60%）と，発表を通しての授業への貢献度（約20%）、さらに、提出物（約20％）などから総合的に評価する。 単位認定には、全授業回数の2/3以上の出席が必要。  その他（授業アンケートへのコメント含む） 受講生の発表を授業の中心にして進めていく。  担当講師についての情報（実務経験） 高校、大学での教員経験を生かしてわかりやすい授業を目指す。
